Milan fashion is the same as Ferrari for the Italian Grand Prix: it is on stage in town and it’s followed all over the world. Creativeness, dynamism, vitality, evolution make the fashion from Milan one of the most advanced sectorssetting the pace of worldwide trends by going along with production plans that are scheduled according to the “Fall-Winter” and “Spring-Summer” collections.

But which are the top events and the fashion shows that must not be missed in order to be always up-to-date with the new and inimitable creations? “Milan Woman Fashion Week” – in February and in September -, “Milan Men’s Fashion” – in January and in June -, “Milan Main Fashion” – between January and February followed by the Summer edition between June and July - and Milan Fashion Design, on stage in April.

The elixir of fashion in Milan is focused on the very famous “fashion rectangle”, a very precise definition since that area is bordered with four streets of the historical centre - via Montenapoleone, via Manzoni, via della Spiga and Corso Venezia – famous all around the world for the atelier belonging to the most important brands . And you’ll be spoilt for choice, you just need to trust a personal shopper, a very demanded professional help nowadays, to find your way among the most “praised” Italian fashion stylists such as Armani, Prada, Valentino, Moschino, Versace, Missoni, Trussardi, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Ferrè, Ferragamo, Krizia, Biagiotti, Fiorucci, Cerruti, Cavalli and Pucci.

Milan Expo 2015 is waiting for the world that is looking forward to discovering the Italian collections in order to keep on investing in this field: according to the figures provided by the “National Chamber for Italian Fashion” that not surprisingly is based in Milan from where they run and promote the development of fashion in Italy, the fashion field is improving and its turnover is expected to be increasing by 5,4% in the year 2014 compared to the year 2013, unless any external shocks occur.
